Dear friends and neighbors:
Thank you for all of your support. I am truly humbled by the fact that more than 3,000 constituents in our District voted in support of my candidacy for the Maryland House of Delegates. While it was not enough to secure the Democratic nomination, I could not be more proud of our positive campaign and the efforts of our many supporters and volunteers, without which I could not have secured the endorsement of both The Washington Post and The Gazette.
As you know, I ran for office because I care deeply about our community, which is why I have spent my entire professional career working in the non-profit sector to make a difference. As a result, I will continue to fight to improve our health, education, environment and economy. I look forward to working with our Democratic nominees for District 16 to help advance these important issues. I hope you will join me in remaining engaged in the political process, as your continued support for leaders like Governor Martin O’Malley in particular, will be especially critical during the November elections.
